Not really a blog but because I haven’t done one in such a long time.. (been busy damn it ) Thought I’d combine a news item with a blog, so anyway, if you’re a sci-fi fan, you should know the name Ron Moore, from among other places "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "Carnivale" or on "Battlestar Galactica." (Not to mention his devastatingly accurate take on the problems with "Star Trek: Voyager.")
Variety reports that NBC Universal has signed him to a two-year deal. He’s got two series in the works. The one for NBC is called "Pen and the Sword" and looks at the link between an ordinary office and a fantasy realm. The one for Sci Fi is called "Warehouse 13," and it focuses on some workers at a government storage facility for all kinds of strange artifacts.
The one drawback to this news is that it means that Moore is unlikely to raise "Trek" from its ashes any time soon, which could be a good thing. anyone who has any intellegence knows that DS9 was "the" best startrek made, everyone else should just shut up.

I haven’t been posting here or on Last Atak as I moved to Loughborough on the 30th of June, I now work for A2Z Computers (www.a2zcomputers.co.uk). I have a room in a flat 10 minutes walk from where I work, it took a couple of weeks to get the internet working. I’m enjoying it and there are lots of goods points:
I have a double bed.
Fosters £1.99 @ The Amber Rooms
Carling £1.60 @ the Student Union. (been there 3 times this week)
Lots of overtime so I can earn extra money.
I’m getting a free computer desk from work.
I’m going to a barbecue at work tomorrow.
Free dinner from the chipshop today.
Everyone says I look younger than I am.
The only major bad point is that I bent my foot back on Tuesday and I’ve been limping everywhere since.
