Alun Avatar

What a weekend, live music, beer and an abundance of sunshine, Its good to be in Caverswall in July,

Heres the thing this week saw the annual Cars'a Wakes weekend kick off with a night of soul and a day of beer and sunshine, other events this weekend? nothing of note, finally saw T3 as well as the new eps of Stargate, (See summary in epguide) and the new dead like me.

Thinking about doing something a bit stupid this week, but I won't divulge any info at this moment in case I come to my senses.

Oh got a capture card on order to convert my VHS tapes to VCD, at long last I can preseve my Newman and Baddeil collection, BTW I've finnaly got all the original mary whitehouse experinace raido shows on mp3. Fantastic.

The Snozzberries taste like Snozzberries!
Alun Avatar

I've read today that there are a few contenders for the role of Willy Wonka in Tim Burton’s adaptation of CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY namely Christopher Walken and Michael Keaton.

Personally, I think Eddie Izzard  is the only man suitable to fill the shoes of Gene Wilder in one of his very best roles, but no one at Warner Bros. has the vision to hire someone like Eddie. I’m not sure about either Walken or Keaton. I like both guys, but as Wonka? The role’s been played perfectly once... it’s going to take a casting miracle to make me care again.

In other news I’m currently working on a photo concept website showcasing my local village the rough drafts are done and the main graphics template is done all I have to done is do the menu template and then the photo’s looks great in concept.

Also New this week if anyone knows me they’ll know I’ve long been against the quality of programming in the UK and I’ve felt for a long time that the myth that the UK has the best TV in the world is just that a "Myth" so I’ve decided to script my own TV series, (well a pilot anyway) I’ve got loads of ideas so expect something in the new few weeks, in the way of concepts.
