Memories. La-la-la-la-la-laaaa-ly, Memories.
Zoidberg Avatar

Last night there was a documentary on BBC2 predominantly about how underachieving and rubbish schools in Stoke-on-Trent are. As a former resident (though thankfully not a graduate of it's schooling) of Stoke I had a nice trip down memory lane as they drove about. In fact, there was a sequence that was shot in and around my old house, so I saw the area I used to walk to the shops, or to work. It was nice. What was nicer was that during a meeting on the documentary, a friend I used to work with (Suzy) could be seen in the back ground. Very surreal.

After that (it finished at 1am) I set out the task of sleeping. I say 'task' as no sooner had I put my head down the barking started. It took me a while to work out what it was, but as it got closer and shriller (is that a word?) it became clear that it was a fox. It wasn't just an occasional bark, it was endless barking AT something. It was also getting closer to the house. I eventually started looking out the window to see what the fuss was about, soon I could see the fox darting back and forth across the road a little along the street. As it drew nearer I became aware that it was in fact barking at something. Another fox? I wondered. Then a movement. In the shadows. it was small. Bigger than the fox though. It came into the street light. It was a deer. A tiny little (but bigger still than the fox) deer. Imagine Bambi - with a slight limp - trotting along my VERY urban street with a fox keeping it's distance whilst also barking at it like a crazy mofo. Weird.

I promise to get better stories in the future.

Its a Miracle

I'm a little happy today as Andy, has begun to realise that Miracles, is actally worth you while to watch, (even thought you can't see it on TV at the moment). So that makes at least two people I know who like it.

But I'm a little sad as I have to have one of my wisdom teeth removed, cause I chipped a big chunk of it the other day, while eating a cold bar of chocolate, and you can't really repair the buggers, so woe is me, however I do get to spend some time on my web project, and try and perfect my alternative interface for my CMS. and since Tv going to a bit dead state-side after next week I can work on non-scooby web projects. and maybe play a little vietnam.

oh looking forward to the wedding  in a couple of months, congrats again Sara & Jon, luckly i'm back from Prage, just in time!
